The dedicated category is part of the Annual Responsible Business Awards, organized by BBLF for the 22nd year in a row
A total of 100 corporate entries focused on people and the environment vie for the prestigious Annual Responsible Business Awards 2024. 61 companies from different sectors are competing in the prominent national ESG competition, organised by the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum (BBLF) for the 22nd year in a row to recognize corporate excellence in investing in social good and sustainability.
Importantly, 11 nominations were submitted for the Diversity at Work 2024 Award, a category introduced four years ago by the Diversity Charter in Bulgaria to recognize best practices in promoting diverse teams, equal opportunities and inclusive workplaces.

Congratulations to all 11 companies: not only did they carry out inclusion programmes but also shared them by entering the Awards and will thus inspire and inform other organisations to follow suit.
To our delight, the majority of nominations in the diversity category this year are from Charter signatories: Hewlett-Packard Global Delivery Bulgaria Center, Intellias, ITX Bulgaria, Kaufland Bulgaria, Paysafe, Philip Morris Bulgaria, Shell Bulgaria. We were pleased to see entries by DXC Technology, FANTASTICO GROUP, KBC Global Services N.V.- Branch Bulgaria, Prestige-96.
In addition to wide publicity and well-deserved recognition, the winner of the Diversity at Work prize receives an additional bonus: an invitation to attend the official launch of European Diversity Month in late April in Brussels, an unmissable chance to meet and exchange with organisations that stand for DEI values across Europe.
For details on this year’s entries in the other categories please visit the BBLF website.
A renowned jury of prominent independent experts from various sectors evaluates the applications. Criteria include benefit to society, quality of the plan and its implementation, commitment of partners and staff, creativity and innovation, public response and recognition. All nominated projects also run for the special Engage Award that recognizes employee involvement in a social good project, and the winner is selected by the British Embassy in Sofia.
The winners in the individual categories and the finalists ranked second and third will be announced at an official awards ceremony on 24 March 2025. The event presents all the entries, and they will also get published in the Awards archive on the BBLF website.
You can still become a sponsor of the official ceremony, which traditionally attracts numerous guests – high-level public sector officials, senior business executives, the civil sector, diplomats and the media (sponsorship packages).
A landmark BBLF project, the Annual Responsible Business Awards are a high-profile platform for responsible companies and their successful and inspiring campaigns for the benefit of employees, the community and the environment. Thus BBLF seeks to encourage best practice and promote corporate programmes with the greatest impact.
