At the end of last month, a nation-wide quantitative study by the marketing agency BluePoint, implemented in January 2021 by commission of TELUS International Bulgaria, was published. According to the results, one third of all respondents point out that there are in fact bias and prejudice on the market that negatively affect job candidates in Bulgaria, while 63% encounter arrogant and paternalistic attitude, as well as ambiguous work conditions and job descriptions. Conversely, almost 30% of participants in the survey have resorted to concealing a bodily trait, ethnic background, sexual orientation, and so on due to fear of intolerance.
