‘Sofia can become the next EU Capital of Inclusion’, Bulgarian Diversity Charter on BNR

“Sofia has the chance to become the next EU Capital of Inclusion” stated Maria Stoyanova from the Bulgarian Diversity Charter in an interview with the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR).

The Bulgarian Diversity Charter encouraged not only Sofia, but also Plovdiv, Burgas and other cities, towns and regions in Bulgaria to apply for the 2024 edition of the European Capitals of Inclusion and Diversity Award.

The competition strives to acknowledge the most inspiring and successful local initiatives, led by municipalities and local authorities, that have successfully promoted diversity and inclusion in their societies through measures, policies and initiatives addressing anti-discrimination, equality, equity, tolerance and solidarity.
