Three companies were recognized in the 2021 Annual Responsible Business Awards

At an official ceremony on 5 April 2022 the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum (BBLF) announced the winners of the prestigious 2021 Diversity at Work award. Nine companies entered their diversity and inclusion programmes competing in this new category of the Annual Responsible Business Awards, the most prominent national competition for corporate social responsibility and sustainability. HPE Global Delivery Centre Bulgaria ranked first, IBM Bulgaria ranked second, and BGAssist got the bronze.

Winners received their prizes from Doncho Barbalov, Deputy Mayor of Sofia, and all entries were briefly presented at the ceremony. The event was attended by over 200 guests from the executive, private and civil sector, diplomats and the media.

The Diversity at Work category is part of the efforts of BBLF as a founder of the Bulgarian Diversity Charter in partnership with the Centre for the Study of Democracy to promote equality, nondiscrimination and social inclusion in corporate workplaces. The aim of BBLF is to provide a platform for exchange of good practices as well as to promote the most successful campaigns.

A total of 9 companies entered their D&I programmes competing for the prominent recognition: IBM Bulgaria, Paysafe, Hewlett Packard Enterprise GDCB, Transpress, BGAssist, Nestle Bulgaria, Cargill Bulgaria, BAT Bulgaria, Musala Soft. A huge thank you to them all for being our diversity category pioneers!

„The Diversity at Work Award is more than a recognition as winners get to share their policies and success stories which would motivate others and contribute to building a fairer and more tolerant  society”, BBLF Chair Levon Hampartzoumian says.

The previous edition of the Awards saw a special award for diversity and inclusion campaigns and this year D&I grew into a full category attracting nine entries.
