5 DEI entries compete for the prestigious Diversity at Work 2025 Award

The prestigious accolade will be handed out within the framework of the Annual Responsible Business Awards, organised by BBLF for the 23rd year in a row

Five effective and inspiring DEI campaigns vie for the 2025 Diversity at Work Award. The prestigious national accolade will be handed out within the framework of the Annual Responsible Business Awards, organised by the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum (BBLF) for the 23rd year in a row.

The dedicated Diversity at Work prize is the latest addition to the Awards: it was introduced in 2021 by the Bulgarian Diversity Charter to recognize corporate excellence in promoting diverse teams, equal opportunities and inclusive workplaces.

We are pleased to share that all entries this year were in fact submitted by Charter signatories: Fantastico Group, Hewlett Packard Enterprise Global Delivery Bulgaria Centre, ITX Bulgaria, Latecoere Bulgaria, Paysafe Bulgaria.

Hats off to all 5 companies: not only did they carry out inclusion campaigns but also shared them by entering the Awards and will thus inform and motivate peers from other organisations.

In addition to wide publicity and well-deserved recognition, the winner of the Diversity at Work award receives an additional bonus: an invitation to attend the official launch of European Diversity Month in late April in Brussels, an unmissable chance to meet and exchange with organisations that stand for DEI values across Europe.

A total of 91 corporate entries focused on people and the environment vie for the prestigious Annual Responsible Business Awards 2025, organised by the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum (BBLF) for the 23rd year in a row to recognize best practice in investing in social good and sustainability.

For details on this year’s entries in the other categories please visit the BBLF website.

A renowned jury of prominent independent experts from various sectors evaluates the applications. Criteria include benefit to society, quality of the plan and its implementation, commitment of partners and staff, creativity and innovation, public response and recognition.

The winners in the individual categories and the finalists ranked second and third will be announced at an official awards ceremony on 16 March 2026. The event presents all the entries, and they will also get published in the Awards archive on the BBLF website.

You can still become a sponsor of the official ceremony, which traditionally attracts numerous guests – high-level public sector officials, senior business executives, the civil sector, diplomats and the media (sponsorship packages).

A landmark BBLF project, the Annual Responsible Business Awards are a high-profile platform for responsible companies and their successful and inspiring campaigns for the benefit of employees, the community and the environment. Thus BBLF seeks to encourage best practice and promote corporate programmes with the greatest impact.

Bulgarian Diversity Charter

The Bulgarian Diversity Charter is a joint initiative of the Centre for the Study of Democracy and the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum (BBLF) to promote diversity in the workplace. The Charter encourages companies to create and implement policies related to diversity management, prevention of discrimination and promotion of equality. The two organisations launched the project in September 2020 along with 10 founding signatories from BBLF’s most active member companies. Today, the Bulgarian Charter brings together over 100 signatories, mostly companies but also NGOs, who gain access to a wide network of contacts, publications and policy monitoring and evaluation tools.
