The Bulgarian Diversity Charter is excited to announce that registrations are now open for the NICE programme’s Training & Mentorship Programme for Companies on Neutral & Inclusive Communication.
This programme, now available to Charter signatories, is free-of-charge but requires preliminary registration. Spots are limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Diversity Communication Training and Mentorship Programme is part of the NICE project, and its main objective is to improve organisational culture by building knowledge and skills, raising awareness of the benefits of D&I and sharing best practice.

What’s included?
The Training & Mentorship Programme consists of two main activities:
- A) Training sessions – September 2024
- B) One-month mentorship scheme – October-November 2024
Training Sessions
The training will present the NICE Training Pack entailing an Inclusive Communication Framework with Benchmarks & Indicators to support companies improve existing inclusive communication practices in various domains; six modules on inclusive and neutral language; activities to test knowledge; and communication scenarios to enhance communication skills of staff. All companies that participate in the programme will receive a certification badge indicating they successfully completed the training.
Day 1: 18 September, online, 1 hour
Day 2: 19 September, onsite, 4 hours. 10:00-14:00 , HPE Bulgaria, Business Park Sofia, Building 8
Day 3: 20 September, online, 1 hour
One-month Mentorship Scheme
The Bulgarian Diversity Charter will mentor one (or more) staff member of your company to implement weekly online tasks to improve existing practices/ policies on inclusive and neutral language. The type of tasks to be implemented will depend on your company’s current performance, and following the completion of an assessment survey to inform our recommendations for improvement.
NB: Different parts of the programme complement each other, and therefore we expect the registered companies to participate in both activities.
Certification
Earn an official diversity communication label issued by the Bulgarian Diversity Charter certifying your company’s successful completion of the inclusive language programme.
